Emma Douglas (b. 1956, London) lives and works in London. Studied Fine Art BA at Middlesex Polytechnic (1976-79); Printmaking at Ecole des Arts Decoratifs Paris (1979-80); and MA Printmaking at the Royal College of Art (1980-83). Douglas has exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer exhibition (2016), and was selected for the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2015 and 2013). Select exhibitions include The Whitworth Gallery, Manchester; The Hayward Annual, London; the Whitechapel Open, London; The Serpentine Gallery, London; The Mulhouse Biennale (prize winner), Mulhouse; The Barbican Gallery, London; The Ljubljana Biennale, Ljubljana; Serpentine Gallery, London; and the Flowers Gallery, London and New York. Her work is held in private and public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; and the Royal College of Art, London.
